The org chart shows your organisation as a tree, built from each person's manager. You'll find it as an optional view in three places:
- People: switch between Directory and Org chart at the top of the page.
- Company → Structure: switch between Outline and Chart.
- Organisation (HR and admins): switch between Manage and Chart.
Finding your way around
- Expand and collapse: each card shows how many direct reports a person has. Click the count to show or hide their team, and the chart rearranges itself around what's open.
- Levels: use the levels picker to show the top 1, 2, 3 or more levels at once. Expand everyone opens the whole tree and Collapse to the top folds it back.
- Jump to a person: start typing a name or job title. Picking someone opens the chain of managers above them and centres the chart on their card.
- Highlight a department: choose a department to highlight its people and fade everyone else.
- Move and zoom: drag the chart (or use the arrow keys) to pan, scroll or use the zoom buttons to zoom, and press Fit to screen to see everything at once. Fullscreen gives you the whole window.
Your own card has a You badge, and Find me jumps straight to it. Clicking a person's card opens their profile, and you'll only see the details your role allows.
If you're a manager, HR or an admin, cards for people with missing details show a small "missing" tag with the number of items that need filling in.
Why someone is missing or in the wrong place
The chart uses the Manager field on each person's profile. People with no manager appear at the top. If someone is in the wrong spot, ask HR to update their manager on their profile.
