A first week that runs itself. A goodbye that goes properly.
Start a checklist and every task lands with the right person: the starter, their manager, whoever sets up the laptop, whoever adds them to payroll. Due dates work back from the start date, reminders go out, and tasks tick themselves when the details arrive.
9 tasks, 4 owners. Due dates are counted back from the start date. Press Start and watch who is asked to do what.

The detail, because the detail is the point.
Everyone gets their own part
Each task has an owner: HR, IT, the manager or the employee. Owners see their tasks on Home and are reminded when one is due. HR never has to chase a thing.
Dates that work backwards
Due dates are worked out from the start or finish date, so "laptop ready" is due before day one, not on it.
Tasks that tick themselves
If a starter has already added their bank details in their welcome, that task is marked done automatically, with the reason shown.
Leaving well
A leaver checklist covers equipment, access, final pay and the exit conversation. Setting the finish date tells payroll at the same time.

About onboarding & offboarding
Can we build our own checklists?
Yes. Templates are yours to shape, with owners and due-date offsets on every task.
What happens to a starter before day one?
They get a guided welcome to finish their details and acknowledge policies, so day one is about meeting people.
