PeopleTeam points out birthdays, work anniversaries and new starters so nobody's special day slips past.
Where you'll see them
- Community feed: a Celebrating today banner sits at the top of the feed on the day itself. The Celebrations panel on the right lists what's coming up in the next 30 days, and New starters shows who has joined in the last month.
- Home: the Coming up card lists birthdays, work anniversaries and new starters for the next 30 days. If your role lets you view someone's profile, click their name to open it.
Click a person to open their profile. To wish them well, post a note in the Community feed.
What colleagues can see
Colleagues only see the day and month of your birthday, never the year or your age. Work anniversaries show how many years someone has been with the organisation.
Share or hide your birthday
- Open the account menu and choose My profile.
- In Personal details, click Edit.
- Tick or untick Show my birthday to colleagues, then click Save.
If you hide it, your birthday won't appear anywhere in PeopleTeam for colleagues. HR still has your date of birth on your record.
